Heavy clouds swirl over a calm horizon in this piece, reminding us that even the darkest storm clouds bring beauty. The title of this sweet painting comes from the following quote by John Muir.

“Nature is always lovely, invincible, glad, whatever is done and suffered by her creatures. All scars she heals, whether in rocks or water or sky or hearts.”

About the Mountains Are Calling Collection:

Minimalistic landscapes inspired by the mountains and lakes of British Columbia and the writings of John Muir. These mixed-media paintings were created by combining fluid acrylic with oil paint stick and gold metal leaf.

Size: 20”x20” x1.5”  

Medium: Fluid acrylic and oil stick on premier stretched canvas protected with matte varnish. Initialed on the front, signed and titled on the back. Wired and ready to hang.
