"Saltmarsh" - 4x4 inch mini acrylic painting

"Saltmarsh" was inspired by the beautiful saltmarshes of the New Jersey coast. Jersey sometimes gets a bad rap but there is a lot of beautiful sprinkled in and amazing ecological diversity for such a small state. This painting was created entirely from a spontaneous memory, underneath it lies a couple of completely different “failed” paintings. It is a wonderful reminder to persevere.
