“A Reflection of Me, She Shines Brighter” original oil painting by Melanie Fenton - 2023

I am not sure exactly where this painting came from except that when I started it my daughter was wearing a shirt this colour, purpley blue, quite often and I felt I needed to capture that somehow. It took close to a year to finish because I was not sure what it needed. Turns out what it needed was to be bolder, with some very bright yellow, much like my daughter, who shines so very brightly.

Size: 14” x 11” x 1.5”

Medium: Oil paint on gallery wrapped canvas. Initialed on the front, signed and titled on the back. Ready to hang.
