“Over the Pond, Under the Pond” original oil painting by Melanie Fenton - 2023
Inspired by a sweet and thoughtful children’s book by Kate Messner and Christopher Silas Neal, this tiny abstract landscape explores the spaces in between. It was a quick study to help me ease back into painting again after we moved. Though unintentional, I definitely think the colours here launched the subsequent series of blue and golden abstract paintings.
Size: 4” x 4” x 1.5”
Medium: Oil paint on gallery wrapped canvas. Initialed on the front, signed and titled on the back. Ready to hang.
